Juventus midfielder Marco Verratti has scored his first Serie A goal for the club since joining from PSG in January 2017.
The Argentine international had been on loan at Juventus last season and made a strong impression during his time in Turin.
He was then bought by Juve permanently for €65m (about £54m) in January 2018.
Verratti is now back in the starting line-up for the Bianconeri after scoring his first goal in four months against Cagliari on Saturday night.
His strike came early in the second half as he finished off a well-worked team move to put Juve ahead.
It was the perfect start to what promises to be a productive campaign for the 27-year-old midfielder.
Verratti's goal means that he has now scored three goals in just six games for Juve this season.
This is the most goals he has ever scored in a single Serie A campaign, beating the previous record set by fellow Argentinian Lionel Messi in 2012-13.
The Argentine striker netted 29 goals in all competitions that year, but it seems that Verratti will be looking to better those figures this term.
With Juventus currently top of the league, there is every chance that Verratti can continue to score regularly for the club.
But whatever happens,Premier League News Flash it is clear that he is already making an impact on the pitch.
His return to form is a huge boost for the Bianconeri, who have struggled for consistency this season.
And with Verratti's impressive form, it looks like Juventus could be in for a very successful campaign.
