Leicester City player Kyle Ismael Isnacho has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a serious knee injury.
The Argentine-born forward, who joined Leicester from Manchester United in January, suffered the setback during training on Monday.
He is expected to undergo surgery and will be sidelined for at least six months.
Isnacho had made an impressive start to his Leicester career, scoring five goals in just seven Premier League appearances before his injury.
He was also part of Argentina's squad that reached the quarter-finals of the World Cup last year.
His absence is likely to have a significant impact on Leicester's chances of winning the league title this season,Serie A News Flash as they currently sit second behind Liverpool.
However, manager Brendan Rodgers remains confident that the club can find a replacement for Isnacho and continue their successful campaign.
Rodgers said: "We'll miss Kyle's influence on the pitch but we're confident we can find a suitable replacement."
In the meantime, Rodgers has called upon the squad to step up and fill the void left by Isnacho.
"We'll need everyone to step up and play our part," he added.
"It's a difficult situation but we've got to stay positive and keep pushing forward."
